We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the Training in Robotics (II), which took place from June 17 to June 29, 2024, in Thessaloniki ♖ 🇬🇷, organized by the University of Macedonia.
The training covered a range of topics from basic to advanced robotics .

• Week 1 included an introduction to social robotics, programming fundamentals, speech and interaction, autonomous robotics, vision and object recognition, and project planning.
• Week 2 focused on advanced topics such as human-robot interaction (HRI), advanced social robot interaction, customization and advanced programming, project development and review, and presentation.
  This initiative significantly contributed to the promotion of education and research in the field of robotics, providing participants and partners from West University of Timisoara (WUT), Université de Lorraine (UL), and Eszterházy Károly Catholic University (EKCU) with valuable knowledge and skills!
  Many thanks to the entire team of University of Macedonia (Prof. Nikolaos Fachantidis, Anastasia Goulara, Christina Pasalidou, Ioannis Lefkos, and Kostas Papadopoulos) for their warm hospitality, and the great organization of the event, to the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki and Mr. Antonis Dimitriou (Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, AUTH) for the insightful tour, and presentations!
